We have some exciting news to announce.
NEW SPACE
After 13 years on Marcy Street, Aaron Payne Fine Art closed its doors in 2019 and moved to Lena Street to work as a private dealer and advisor. After 4 years working in this capacity, we are thrilled to expand our focus and inaugurate a public space.
On Saturday June 3rd we will open our doors and renew our commitment to exhibiting and sharing artwork we love and artists we support. As we build our program, we will continue to focus on both American and international artists, many of whom are BIPOC and women.
We will open with an exhibition of selected works and recent acquisitions by Modern, Postwar and Contemporary artists. Artists featured include: Harry Bertoia, Beauford Delaney, Fritz Scholder, Romare Bearden, Larry Bell, Lee Mullican, Marion Sampler, vanessa german, Zanele Muholi, Shirley Goldfarb and many others. This exhibition presents artworks made from the mid-20th century until today.
NEW WEBSITE
Our new website dropped on June 1.
This new website expands on our last, but continues along the same path. A place to see where we are, where we have been and discuss the art market from our unique perspective. Recently I met someone who went straight to my website after we met and read some blogs about my connection to art. It has started a wonderful conversation between us. And YES!, you can see artworks to purchase as well. Working as a private dealer, many people are often not aware of works I've handled or the breadth of my interests. So, I hope the website will be a place where people can check in all around.

GALLERY HOURS: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 11am - 4pm or by appointment.
OPENING RECEPTION: 3 June 2023 - 3 to 7pm
For those of you in Santa Fe, the opening will coincide with the First Saturday openings at The Lena Street Lofts. Many makers and shops will be open from 3-6, with live music, food, and a very welcome start to our summer season.
