This is one of 13 drawings completed by Jonson in 1934.  He also completed 10 oils and 3 watercolors in this year, which was a dramatic decrease from his usual artistic output.

Jonson began teaching art at UNM in 1934, commuting from Santa Fe every week.  He only made 10 paintings and 13 drawings this year, likely due to his new duties.

The original handmade and painted frame and mat crafted by the artist is also available.

Drawing is on a sheet of 18 x 24 inches art paper.
